Shaun Tait, the former Australian fast bowler, has announced his resignation as Bangladesh's fast bowling coach, concluding a successful year-long tenure with the national cricket team to focus on his young family. Tait's contract commenced in May last year and was set to expire in November 2027. His decision to step down is effective immediately, as reported by ESPNcricinfo.

Expressing fulfillment from his time with the Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) and national team, Tait conveyed his gratitude towards the BCB and the players. "I have a great relationship with the fast bowling group," he stated, hinting at potential future engagements within Bangladesh's cricket scene despite stepping back for now to spend time with his family.
