The 29-year-old, seeking his first Grand Slam title, was sharp on the clay courts of Roland Garros and is set to challenge the outcome of a compelling all-Italian semi-final between 10th seed Flavio Cobolli and Matteo Arnaldi.
Zverev, renowned for his resilience in best-of-five encounters, managed to handle Mensik's surge, especially during a tense third set, ultimately securing his spot in another Grand Slam final with hopes to seize the title this time.
