Union Minister of Youth Affairs and Sports, Dr. Mansukh Mandaviya, along with Delhi Chief Minister Rekha Gupta, addressed the 'Youth for Viksit Bharat: MY Bharat Youth Convention' held at the Thyagaraj Sports Complex in New Delhi on Saturday. The event attracted over 6,000 young participants, including students, professionals, entrepreneurs, and innovators, demonstrating the diverse potential of India's youth in nation-building as the country progresses towards becoming a developed nation by 2047.
Eminent figures such as MLA and singer Maithili Thakur, actor Vikrant Massey, entrepreneur Aman Gupta, and cricketer Jitesh Sharma engaged with volunteers from MY Bharat, sharing their journeys and inspiring the youth to strive for excellence and contribute to India's development. Union Minister Mandaviya emphasized the youth's potential, noting India's demographic advantage with 65% of the population under 35, and praised MY Bharat's efforts in channeling young talent toward nation-building.
Reiterating the opportunities for young Indians under Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Minister Mandaviya and Chief Minister Gupta highlighted the transformative impact of innovative youth across fields, urging them to harness their talents and reinforce India's global standing. The convention concluded with the Viksit Bharat Sankalp, a pledge by young citizens to foster a developed, inclusive India by 2047.
