In a landmark victory, the Indian Men's U-18 Hockey Team clinched the gold medal at the Asia Cup 2026, triumphing over Japan with a decisive 4-1 win in Kakamigahara, Japan. On the same day, the Indian Women's team secured a commendable bronze after a 3-0 victory against Korea in the third-place match.
