Tampa Bay Rays starting pitcher Tyler Glasnow exited Friday's game against the visiting New York Yankees in the sixth inning due to right forearm tightness. The Rays announced that the 25-year-old will be evaluated further on Saturday.

Glasnow exited after striking out Gleyber Torres for the first out of the sixth with runners on first and second. He waved to the trainer, who did not see him initially before coming out. The right-hander also was visited by a trainer in the first inning when he appeared to come off the mound awkwardly. He stayed in the game and threw one warmup pitch. Glasnow entered the game with a 6-0 record and 1.47 ERA, departing as the Rays held a 3-2 lead.
