White Sox activate SS Anderson from IL

The Chicago White Sox activated shortstop Tim Anderson from the 10-day injured list on Monday night after he spent a month on the IL. Anderson, 26, was placed on the IL at the end of June with a right high-ankle sprain.
He is hitting .317 with a .342 on-base percentage, 11 home runs, 37 RBIs and 15 stolen bases in 70 games this season. Anderson began his rehab stint with Triple-A Charlotte on July 24. In five games with Charlotte, Anderson was 8-for-23.
The White Sox have gone 10-16 since Anderson was hurt.
