FC Bayern Munich has signed the Croatian international star Ivan Perisic on loan from the Italian club, Inter Milan, according to a post made by the football club on its verified Twitter account.  The agreement has a term of one year, thus ending on June 30, 2020. The club said in a statement the vice-world champion will move from Inter Milan to Munich with immediate effect on loan.

Sports Director Hasan Salihamidzic said, "Ivan will help us with his many years of experience at an international top-level immediately, he is technically strong and flexible in the offensive. I'm sure Ivan will integrate quickly as he already knows the Bundesliga and our coach Niko Kovac well. "

Prior to his involvement in Italy (since 2015) Perišić already played for VfL Wolfsburg and Borussia Dortmund. With the BVB he won the 2012 Double, with Wolfsburg he won the 2015 DFB Cup. In 2018, Perisic (82 caps / 23 goals) made a significant contribution to Croatia's success at the FIFA World Cup in Russia when they lost 2-4 to their national team in the final.

"I am very happy to be back in Germany. Bayern is one of the biggest clubs in Europe. We want to attack not only in the Bundesliga and in the DFB Cup, but also in the Champions League," said Perisic, who signed his contract on Sabener Strabe on Monday night after a successful medical check.
