Google invites entries for the 2018 Doodle 4 Google contest in India

Google has been hosting the Doodle 4 Google contest every year in India since 2009.

Google today announced the 2018 'Doodle 4 Google' contest, inviting art-loving students from across India to bring their creativity and imagination to life in a doodle of the Google logo. The winning doodle will be showcased on the Google'homepage (www.google.co.in) for a day and the winner will win a range of exciting prizes.

This year's Doodle 4 Google is inviting students to share their doodles based on the theme 'What Inspires Me?' All young participants can work with any materials they want such as paint, pencils, crayons, markers, chalk, pastels, charcoal, cray-pas, but just like all Google Doodles, each doodle must incorporate the letters G-o-o-g-l-e.

"The contest is open for entries until Oct 6, 2018, for every student between class 1 to 10. Internal judging and jury votes will be used to identify the top 20 doodles, which will be put up for public voting from October 23rd to November 5th, 2018, where the entire country will be able to vote for their favorite doodle. Winning doodle will be awarded a five lakh rupee college scholarship, along with many other prizes," said the company blog post by Sapna Chadha, Director of Marketing, Southeast Asia & India.

Doodle 4 Google offers students of classes 1-10 an opportunity to display their own artwork on www.google.co.in. Google has been hosting the Doodle 4 Google contest every year in India since 2009.
