Google enhancing Workspace Status Dashboard UI, outage alerts
Another important change is that the current status of the services can now be seen on the right with checkmarks as opposed to dots on the left in the older version.
Google said Monday it is refreshing the Workspace Status Dashboard user interface (UI) and also enhancing the functionality of the existing Apps outage alert system-defined rule provides email notifications regarding service disruptions or outages.
The new Google Workspace Status Dashboard user interface will allow you to find and view important service status information faster. While previously the services (such as Gmail, Google Calendar, Docs, Classroom etc.) were listed on the top, now they appear on the left. Another important change is that the current status of the services can now be seen on the right with checkmarks as opposed to dots on the left in the older version.
Speaking about the apps outage alerts, they will now appear in the Alert Center and you can retrieve them using the Alert Center API. The Apps outage alerts will share a familiar format to other alerts your organization may receive in the Alert Center.

The email notification format has also been updated to contain structured information such as key issue details, the status of the affected services, and a link to the Google Workspace Status Dashboard.
Further, to align with other email notifications from the Alert Center, the sender email address used for Apps outage alert email notifications is changing from workspace-noreply@google.com to google-workspace-alerts-noreply@google.com. It is worth mentioning that the subject of these emails will remain the same.
The aforementioned changes will be available to all Google Workspace customers, G Suite Basic and Business customers. The updated Google Workspace Status Dashboard will become available by July 21, 2021.
