OnePlus Nord and Nord CE get January 2023 security patches

OnePlus has started rolling out the January 2023 Android security patches to the OnePlus Nord and the OnePlus Nord CE. The update, labelled OxygenOS F.18 and OxygenOS 12 C.10, respectively, is rolling out in the Indian region.

Announcing the rollout via a post in the community forums, OnePlus said that the update will be released in stages, with a limited number of users receiving it today and a wider rollout in the coming days.

If you haven't received the update notification, you can manually check for it by going to the phone's Settings > System > System updates. Tap the 'Download and Install button if it's available.

OnePlus Nord: Specifications

The OnePlus Nord features a 6.44-inch AMOLED display with a 90Hz refresh rate and is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 765G processor, which is paired with up to 8GB of RAM and 256GB of storage. It also has a quad-camera setup on the back, consisting of a 48MP main camera, an 8MP ultra-wide camera, a 5MP depth sensor, and a 2MP macro camera. On the front, it has a dual-camera setup with a 32MP main camera and an 8MP ultra-wide camera. The OnePlus Nord is fuelled by a 4,115mAh battery and runs on OxygenOS.

The OnePlus Nord CE 5G is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 750G 5G processor and comes with 12GB of RAM and 256GB of storage. The handset boasts a 6.43-inch FHD+ AMOLED display with a 90Hz refresh rate and a punch-hole cutout for the 16MP front-facing camera. On the back, there is a triple camera setup consisting of a 64MP primary camera, an 8MP ultra-wide-angle lens, and a 2MP macro lens. The device is powered by a 4500mAh battery and supports Warp Charge 30T fast charging.
