OnePlus 11R gets March 2023 security patch in India

The OnePlus 11R units in India have started receiving a new OxygenOS update, labelled OxygenOS A.09, that bumps up the phone's Android security patch level to March 2023 and also brings a handful of improvements.

This build improves the display performance and photo previews in the Camera app. The stability of Bluetooth and network connections have also been improved with this update.

The update will be available to users in India only via an over-the-air (OTA) update which is rolling out incrementally and will reach a limited number of users today. A broader rollout will commence in a few days.

Once the update is available for your device, you will receive a notification prompting you to download and install it. You can also check for the update manually by navigating to the phone's Settings > System > Software Update.

Powered by the Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 Mobile Platform, the OnePlus 11R features a 6.74-inch 120 Hz Super Fluid AMOLED display. It packs a 5,000 mAh battery with 100W SUPERVOOC fast-charging support and an in-display fingerprint sensor for quick biometric authentication.

The OnePlus 11R houses a triple rear camera setup with a 50-megapixel primary shooter, an 8-megapixel ultra-wide camera and a 2-megapixel macro lens. On the front, there is a 16-megapixel camera with EIS support.

The handset is offered with up to 16GB of LPDDR5X RAM and up to 256GB UFS 3.1 storage. It runs on OxygenOS based on Android 13.
