Google is adding new capabilities to expand the timeline view feature that allows you to track and visualize projects in Sheets. Users can now enjoy enhanced formatting options, such as card text truncation for concise displays, as well as the convenience of the undo/redo option for effortless edits.

Another exciting addition is the card collapsed view, allowing users to merge multiple cards into a single row, ensuring a streamlined and organized card group representation. Furthermore, Google has also incorporated print and download support.

The timeline view allows you to easily interact with project information and can help you manage things like marketing campaigns, project milestones, schedules, cross-team collaboration, and more. The new capabilities are gradually rolling out to Rapid Release domains and may take up to 15 days to be fully visible. Starting on June 7, 2023, Google will begin a gradual rollout of the new capabilities in Sheets.

The new capabilities will be available to Google Workspace Essentials, Business Starter, Business Standard, Business Plus, Enterprise Essentials, Enterprise Essentials Plus, Enterprise Standard, Enterprise Plus, Education Fundamentals, Education Plus, Education Standard, and the Teaching and Learning Upgrade customers. Nonprofits, Frontline Starter, and Frontline Standard customers and users with personal Google Accounts will not gain access to these features.
