Microsoft has launched a new Bing Chat widget for iOS users, providing quick access to chat functionality directly from the Home screen. This widget, already available on Android, enables users to initiate chats with ease, making it convenient to connect and communicate on the go.

To add widgets to your iOS device's Home screen:

  • From the Home Screen, touch and hold a widget or an empty area until the apps jiggle.
  • Tap the Add button (+) in the upper-left corner.
  • Select a widget, choose a widget size, and then tap Add Widget.
  • Tap Done.

To further enrich the Bing Chat experience, Microsoft has expanded text-to-speech support to include a wide array of languages including Arabic, Bulgarian, Catalan, Croatian, Czech, Danish, Dutch, Estonian, Filipino, Finnish, Greek, Gujarati, Hebrew, Hindi, Hungarian, Icelandic, Indonesian, Irish, Italian, Korean, Latvian, Lithuanian, Maltese, Marathi, Norsk Bokmål, Polish, Portuguese, Romanian, Russian, Slovak, Spanish, Swedish, Tamil, Telugu, Thai, Turkish, Ukrainian, and Urdu.

The expanded voice language support makes Bing Chat more inclusive and accessible for users worldwide, ensuring that language barriers are minimized.

Furthermore, Microsoft has enhanced the voice input feature on the Bing mobile app for both iOS and Android. With the latest updates, the performance of the voice input button has been significantly improved. As soon as users tap the button, it will instantly indicate that it is actively listening.

These features are fully available to everyone as of today.
