OxygenOS 14 set to boost productivity with Microsoft Phone Link integration
OxygenOS 14 is set to boost your productivity with Microsoft Phone Link integration. With this integration, you can expect your OnePlus phone to have seamless integration with your Microsoft Windows PCs, enabling rich cross-device experiences and improving your productivity when you're at your desk.
The seamless experience is available right from the start - thanks to Windows OOBE (Out Of Box Experience). All you need to do is scan a QR code to get started, OnePlus said on Thursday.
"OxygenOS 14 is around the corner, and it's set to boost your productivity with features like File Dock, Notes 2.0, and Smart Cutout. Today, I want to share an integration that will ensure that productivity extends to other devices — Microsoft Phone Link," a OnePlus team member wrote in a post on the community forums.
The integration provides the following benefits:
- You can check the notification pop-up on your PC and reply in-line to messages without touching your OnePlus smartphone.
- You'll be able to make and receive calls straight from your computer, and even seamlessly transfer calls between the two devices. Additionally, you can also check your call history from your PC.
- Instantly see your phone's photos, save them directly to your PC, delete the ones that didn't turn out right, and even drag and drop them to a PPT or an email.
With the Microsoft Phone Link integration, you can see and interact with your mobile apps on your PC and the multiple apps feature allows you to open apps side by side.
Further, you can directly and completely mirror your phone's display on your PC and interact with it as if you are directly interacting with your phone, OnePlus said.
