Samsung Galaxy AI now supports more languages and dialects

Samsung Electronics is expanding the linguistic capabilities of Galaxy AI by adding support for three new languages - Arabic, Indonesian and Russian, and three new dialects - Australian English, Cantonese and Canadian French.

In addition to these languages, Galaxy AI already supports 13 languages including Chinese, English (India, United Kingdom, United States), French, German, Hindi, Italian, Japanese, Korean, Polish, Portuguese (Brazil), Spanish (Mexico, Spain, United States), Thai and Vietnamese.

The new Galaxy AI languages and dialects will roll out over the upcoming months and will be available for download as a language pack from the Settings app.

Looking ahead, Samsung plans to add four more languages, including Romanian, Turkish, Dutch and Swedish, as well as traditional Chinese and European Portuguese.

Galaxy AI delivers innovative and practical AI features to help transform the way we communicate, create and discover the world. These include Live Translate for real-time voice and text translations of phone calls, Interpreter that generates text translations for live conversations, Chat Assist to refine conversational tones, Note Assist to create formats, generate summaries and translate notes, Transcript Assist to transcribe, summarize and even translate voice recordings and Browsing Assist to stay up to speed faster.
