Google has announced a highly requested feature - Dark mode in Google Drive on web - to make it easier to view files on your device. To use Dark Mode in Drive, go to Drive > Appearance > Dark.

Once you turn the Dark Mode on, you will see a dark background with light text.

"This new setting aims to provide you with a more comfortable, customizable viewing experience for Drive," Google wrote in a blog post.

Dark mode in Google Drive is gradually rolling out to Rapid Release and Scheduled Release domains starting today. It will be available to all Google Workspace customers, Google Workspace Individual subscribers, and users with personal Google accounts.
