Hubject and Exicom Revolutionize EV Charging Experience in India

Hubject, an EV interoperability leader, partners with Exicom, India's top EV charger manufacturer. The partnership will enhance EV charging in India using Hubject's intercharge platform and Plug&Charge technology, aiming for seamless, automated charging experiences that support the nation's growing EV market.

Hubject, a market leader in electric vehicle (EV) interoperability, has announced a strategic alliance with Exicom. As India's largest EV charger manufacturer, Exicom is a trusted ally for global automobile leaders and charge point operators. This partnership aims to leverage Hubject's cutting-edge interoperability technology to enhance the charging experience for EV drivers in India.

The collaboration will primarily focus on Hubject's Plug&Charge platform. This effort will facilitate the creation of a regional Indian hub that supports industry-leading global technology and local charge point operators (CPOs) based on ISO15118 standards. The aim is to introduce fully automated charging capabilities, ultimately establishing India's first Plug&Charge standard and positioning the country as a leader in this technology.

The real-world impact for EV drivers in India is significant. They will be able to plug into compatible charge points and charge their vehicles instantly using automatic EV-to-charging station authentication technology, eliminating the need for apps or RFID cards.
