OPPO Unveils AI-Enhanced Reno12 Series in India

OPPO India launches the Reno12 series, featuring advanced AI capabilities like AI Eraser 2.0, AI Clear Face, and Smart Image Matting 2.0. Powered by MediaTek Dimensity 7300, the Reno12 series promises superior photography, productivity, and battery life. Available in multiple variants and colors, sales begin July 18 and July 25.

OPPO India has officially launched the Reno12 series, marking a significant step in promoting AI-enabled phones in the country. The new series features AI-centric tools such as AI Eraser 2.0 and AI Clear Face, along with Smart Image Matting 2.0. Powered by Google Gemini LLM, the devices come equipped with AI Writer, AI Summary, and AI Speak to boost productivity.

The Reno12 Pro 5G will be available in two variants, priced at INR 36,999 for the 12GB+256GB model and INR 40,999 for the 12GB+512GB version. The standard Reno12 5G will cost INR 32,999, featuring 8GB RAM and 256GB storage. Sales for the Reno12 Pro 5G start on July 18, while the Reno12 5G will be available from July 25 through the OPPO e-Store, Flipkart, and mainline retail outlets.

Peter Dohyung Lee, Head of Product Strategy at OPPO, emphasized the company's commitment to AI technology during the launch event. He highlighted the Reno12 series' advanced GenAI features, innovative design, and energy efficiency. Both devices boast 6.7-inch FHD+ AMOLED displays, 120Hz refresh rates, and a variety of color options. Additionally, the series offers exceptional durability with aerospace-grade alloy frameworks and SGS certifications.
