VL E-Governance Partners with Edgewood Ventures for Strategic Stake in HETL

VL E-Governance & IT Solutions Limited has agreed to acquire a 26% equity stake in HAL-Edgewood Technologies Private Limited. This strategic move aims to bolster future growth in the fields of electronics, software, hardware, and aeronautical systems for aviation, aerospace, defense, and satellite projects.

VL E-Governance & IT Solutions Limited (VL E-Governance) has announced a strategic partnership with Edgewood Ventures LLC, USA, to acquire a 26% equity stake in HAL-Edgewood Technologies Private Limited (HETL).

Established in 2007 as a joint venture of Hindustan Aeronautics Limited (HAL) and Edgewood Ventures, HETL has developed the advanced Mission Computer (OSAMC) for military aviation, a patented product under 'Make-in-India'.

This investment will enhance VL E-Governance's capabilities in designing, developing, and manufacturing high-tech projects in electronics, software, and aeronautical systems, positioning the company for significant future growth in aviation, aerospace, and defense sectors.
