The Securities and Exchange Board of India (Sebi) unveiled a new AI-powered chatbot, 'SEVA,' designed to aid investors with their queries. The chatbot, currently in its Beta stage, provides a range of functionalities including speech-to-text and text-to-speech features for improved accessibility. Users can obtain general information about the securities market, latest master circulars, and details on grievance redressal processes.

Sebi stated that SEVA's Beta version will be continuously updated based on user feedback. The chatbot is now accessible on SEBI's investor website and the SAARTHI mobile app, available on both Android and iOS platforms. Additional functionalities are expected to be rolled out in future updates.

With SEVA, Sebi aims to increase investor engagement and improve information dissemination in the securities market.
