Airtel Leads the Fight Against Cyber Fraud with AI and Network Intelligence

Vittal assures customers of increased security and has introduced a 'Suspected Spam' alert feature to help protect them from fraudulent activities.

In the ongoing battle against cyber fraud, Bharti Airtel is emerging as a pioneer by leveraging network intelligence and AI to detect spam activities. CEO Gopal Vittal underscores the importance of vigilance among customers, stressing the role of the new 'Suspected Spam' indicator available to subscribers.
The Telecom Regulatory Authority of India (TRAI) has also intensified measures to tackle spam, instituting new regulations on whitelisted URLs effective from October 1. Responding to a related inquiry, HDFC Bank confirmed its compliance with these regulations.
Vittal reaffirmed Airtel's commitment to blocking identified scammers permanently. For the last six months, Airtel has meticulously analyzed call patterns to pinpoint spammers, striving to make the 'Suspected Spam' alert an integral part of the mobile user experience.
