During a meeting at the Munich Security Conference, China's Foreign Minister, Wang Yi, communicated this message to his Spanish counterpart, Jose Manuel Albares. The meeting highlighted the potential for Spanish firms to contribute to, and benefit from, China's economic growth and innovation.

Wang emphasized the importance of China and Western nations working together to uphold multilateralism, democratize international relations, and foster a multipolar world order that is both equal and orderly.
