In a strategic move to bolster India's digital prowess, CtrlS Datacenters Ltd unveiled a state-of-the-art data center park in Chennai. Valued at Rs 4,000 crore, this facility marks a notable milestone in advancing the nation's IT infrastructure.
The Chennai Datacenter Park, inaugurated by Chief Minister M K Stalin, comprises two buildings with a combined IT load capacity of 72MW. Designed to withstand earthquakes up to 7.5 on the Richter scale, the park promises to be a blueprint for future data hubs.
This initiative is anticipated to create 500 direct and 9,000 indirect jobs, driving economic growth. With a dedicated gas insulated substation and plans for LEED Platinum certification, the data center symbolizes a progressive leap towards a robust digital ecosystem, meeting global standards.
