Yemen's western coastal regions are facing an imminent malnutrition disaster, according to the United Nations children's agency (UNICEF).
Peter Hawkins from UNICEF revealed at a press briefing in Sanaa, via a video link to Geneva, that severe and acute malnutrition levels have soared to 33% in certain locales.
The situation is most dire in Hodeidah, where thousands remain at risk of death unless urgent measures are implemented to address the crisis.
