AI-Driven Innovations Elevate Indian Army's High-Altitude Readiness

The Indian Army's 'Exercise Divya Drishti' in East Sikkim tested AI-enabled sensors and drones to enhance battlefield awareness and decision-making. Trishakti Corps troops utilized ground and aerial platforms in realistic scenarios, demonstrating technology's role in future military operations, reviewed by Lieutenant General Rakesh Kapoor.

The Indian Army has successfully concluded a high-altitude exercise dubbed 'Exercise Divya Drishti' in East Sikkim, aimed at testing new AI-enabled technologies. These innovations include sensors and drones designed to improve real-time surveillance and battlefield awareness.

The exercise saw troops from the Trishakti Corps employ a combination of ground systems and UAVs to engage in realistic scenarios. Notably, AI-enabled sensors, coupled with advanced communication systems, ensured secure data flow between command centers, enhancing situational awareness and expediting decision-making processes.

This successful demonstration was reviewed by Lieutenant General Rakesh Kapoor, Deputy Chief of Army Staff. General Officer Commanding, Trishakti Corps, Lieutenant General Zubin A Minwalla, emphasized that the insights gained would inform future developments in technology and strategy across the Indian Army.
