Wipro Acquires HARMAN's Digital Transformation Solutions for $375 Million

Wipro will acquire the Digital Transformation Solutions unit of HARMAN for $375 million, integrating it into its Engineering Global Business Line. The acquisition includes 5,600 employees from the Americas, Europe, and Asia, and enhances Wipro’s capabilities across various sectors including technology and healthcare.

Wipro, the IT giant, announced its acquisition of the Digital Transformation Solutions (DTS) unit from HARMAN, a Samsung company, for $375 million. This strategic move is set to complete by the end of 2025, according to regulatory filings.

As part of this agreement, over 5,600 employees from the Americas, Europe, and Asia will transition to Wipro. This transaction aims to bolster Wipro's engineering and research capabilities across diverse sectors such as technology and healthcare.

DTS, known for its expertise in ER&D and IT services, will integrate into Wipro’s Engineering Global Business Line. The acquisition underscores Wipro's commitment to enhancing its AI-driven digital and device engineering prowess, ensuring a strengthened global presence.
