STT GDC India Expands Digital Footprint in Maharashtra with INR 5,000 Crore Investment

STT GDC India, in partnership with the Government of Maharashtra, aims to establish new data centre campuses in Mumbai and Pune with an INR 5,000 crore investment. This expansion is set to enhance digital infrastructure, create jobs, and foster technological innovation in the region.

ST Telemedia Global Data Centres India (STT GDC India) has embarked on a significant expansion project in Maharashtra by partnering with the state government.

The initiative involves developing state-of-the-art data centre campuses in Mumbai and Pune, requiring up to INR 5,000 crore (S$735 million) in investment.

These new facilities are anticipated to significantly contribute to Maharashtra’s economic growth by creating over 500 skilled jobs and fostering technological innovation.
