Power Minister Manohar Lal stressed the transformative potential of Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Machine Learning (ML) in creating consumer-centric, intelligent power distribution networks. He made these remarks at a national conference focused on AI/ML in the power sector.
Manohar Lal highlighted the role of AI/ML solutions in enhancing consumer experiences and operational efficiency through innovations like smart meter analytics and predictive maintenance. The minister called for collaboration among discoms and stakeholders to expedite the transition to smarter systems.
Power Secretary Pankaj Agarwal underscored digitalization and AI/ML adoption to improve discom operations nationwide. The conference included a national innovation call with 195 entries, recognizing leaders in various categories, and celebrated their contributions to scaling these technologies across states.
