Magicpin is setting ambitious growth targets, aiming to reach 20 million active users by 2026, with a primary focus on food delivery, CEO and founder Anshoo Sharma announced. Sharma emphasized the importance of catering to value-conscious users, particularly students and young professionals, who drive habitual spending in food delivery.
Currently, 15 million users engage with Magicpin across several categories, including e-commerce and ticketing, with a majority seeking value for their money. The platform's food delivery segment, which boasts an average order value of Rs 300, remains a dominant growth driver, boosted by repeat users and cross-category transactions.
Sharma noted a shift in India's consumption economy towards value-led spending, aligning with the company's strategy. Magicpin's focus on cultivating a loyal user base among students and job seekers reflects this trend, driving the platform's expansion in major Indian cities.
