Lenovo India has achieved a 7% revenue growth to Rs 8,145 crore for the third quarter of FY26, driven by widespread digitisation and AI adoption across India. This growth is bolstered by strong performances in its mobile, PC, and infrastructure segments, according to Shailendra Katyal, Vice President and Managing Director of Lenovo India.
A considerable portion of this growth is attributed to Motorola's 8.3% market share acquisition in Q3 2025, coupled with robust double-digit growth in Lenovo's core PC and infrastructure segments. India now plays a crucial role in Lenovo's global operations, accounting for roughly 4% of its worldwide revenues and 24% of its Asia-Pacific earnings.
Lenovo is simultaneously focusing on enhancing manufacturing and R&D capacities in India, viewing the country not just as a revenue market but also as a key capability hub. This is aligned with government initiatives like the Production Linked Incentive scheme. The company is moving towards deeper local component manufacturing, particularly in motherboards and PCBs, as it continues to scale its AI and R&D footprints in India.
