Airtel Expands 5G Footprint While India Mortgage Guarantee Corp Enhances Home Loan Access

Airtel, the country's second-largest telecom company, has announced plans to deploy 3,400 new 5G sites across Maharashtra and Goa by 2025. This initiative aims to benefit over 22 million customers located across 36 districts, promising enhanced connectivity.
In the financial sector, India Mortgage Guarantee Corporation (IMGC) has formed a strategic partnership with Bajaj Housing Finance. This collaboration seeks to expand home loan access for underserved and first-time homebuyers, leveraging IMGC's expertise in credit risk protection and Bajaj's robust distribution network.
On the tech front, Axis Trustee has introduced a new platform named 'Prism', designed to boost client engagement and streamline service delivery. Meanwhile, Trevel, an electric cab-hailing service, is raising USD 1 million to support its product and fleet expansion, with early commitments already secured.
