Amazon cloud unit says data center overheating in North Virginia disrupts services

​Amazon's ​cloud ‌unit, Amazon Web ​Services, said ‌on Thursday it was working to restore ‌normal temperatures at a ‌data center in North Virginia ⁠after overheating ​disrupted ⁠some services.

The incident caused ⁠a power loss ​that affected certain hardware, ⁠AWS said, adding ⁠that ​services reliant on the ⁠impacted data center could experience "impairments".
