Pioneering Partnership: NavPrakriti Teams Up with IIT Kharagpur for Battery Recycling Breakthroughs
NavPrakriti has signed an initial agreement with IIT Kharagpur to enhance battery recycling and skill development in India, supporting the nation's clean energy targets. The memorandum fosters innovation and talent growth in battery technology through a comprehensive approach, including joint projects and educational initiatives.
NavPrakriti, a leader in battery recycling and refurbishment, announced a new partnership with IIT Kharagpur on Tuesday. This collaboration is set to bolster research, skill development, and technological advancements in support of India's clean energy goals.
The Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) between NavPrakriti and IIT Kharagpur is aimed at accelerating innovation and talent development in the booming battery and critical minerals sector. This partnership emerges as crucial with India's ambitious target of achieving net zero emissions by 2070 and installing 500 GW of renewable energy capacity by 2030.
The partnership plans to execute a multi-faceted strategy, including student internship programs, joint research projects, and skill development initiatives. Co-Founder of NavPrakriti, Akhilesh Bagaria, highlighted the potential impact, stating that integrating industrial experience with academic prowess will pave the way for significant advancements in battery recycling technology.
