US Ambassador Sergio Gor emphasized the unique opportunities within the India-US partnership, especially in the realm of technology, during an event on Friday. He highlighted how no other bilateral relationship is as well-positioned to exploit emerging global opportunities.
Gor disclosed that the United States is revisiting its export control policies, a move anticipated to enhance collaboration in high-tech areas between the two nations. Recognizing India's potential, he characterized their bilateral ties as a crucial partnership of this century.
The envoy noted that the interim trade agreement between India and the US is nearing completion and might be concluded in the coming weeks or months. He articulated that there's a significant chance to elevate the economic relationship to a higher level.
Gor also shared that Secretary of State Marco Rubio's recent visit to India was particularly impactful, further maneuvering the 'limitless potential' of the bilateral ties.
