'Why I Hate Facebook': Users describe concerns as new Twitter trend gains momentum

Facebook has been tangled in various controversies in recent times, with most of them being related to privacy issues. And users have now taken to Twitter, a competitor, to describe the concerns they have with Facebook with a new hashtag that's trending worldwide, "#AndThatsWhyIHateFacebook"

Most of the users are complaining about privacy issues with Facebook while some are also pointing out other problems like algorithm updates, community standards and more.

Facebook and other platforms owned by the social media giant like Instagram, Whatsapp recently faced hours of outage in various countries as well.

It's basically a massive government data gathering operation where people unknowingly but freely and willingly reveal information about themselves. #AndThatsWhyIHateFacebook
