Mi A2 launched in India with AI powered camera

It is the first phone by Xiaomi sporting Corning Gorilla Glass 5 in India, Mi A2 is just 7.3 mm, slimmer than OnePlus 6 which is 7.8 mm thick.

The launch event of Mi A2 is ongoing right now and the price in India is INR 16,999. The event is also live on Xiaomi's official Youtube channel.

Coming to the specifications, Mi A2 has a powerful Snapdragon 660 SOC Octa-Core processor. It sports a dual 12 MP and 20 MP camera and a 20 MP front camera. It has a 5.99-inch full HD+ display with the new 18:9 aspect ratio. The battery is 3010 mAH and it supports QuickCharge 4.0 but users will have to buy a Quick charger separately as Xiaomi bundles a standard charger with the device.

It sports an AI selfie camera which has a 20 MP Sony IMX376 sensor and Auto HDR.

The phone will be launched in 4 colors, Black, Gold, Rose Gold and the unique and trending Lake Blue.

Only the 4GB and 64 GB variant in India yet. Xiaomi claims that the Xiaomi Mi A1 was the best-selling Android One device.
