Almond prices edged up by 50 per 40 kg at the wholesale dry fruits market in the national capital today on mild demand from retailers.

However, other dry fruits moved in a narrow range in limited deals and pegged at last levels.

Marketmen said some demand from retailers mainly attributed the rise in almond prices.

Almond (California) edged up by Rs 50 to Rs 19,050 and Rs 19,250 per 40 kg. Its kernel also edged up by Rs 5 to Rs 685-695 per kg.
