GAVI expects to complete COVAX supply deal with Pfizer soon

The head of the GAVI vaccine alliance said on Tuesday it is still working on a supply agreement with Pfizer to deliver some 40 million doses of its COVID-19 vaccine to low and middle income countries, adding that the expected the outstanding issues to be "resolved quickly".

GAVI CEO Seth Berkley added that he did not expect these sorts of delays for supply negotiations with other vaccine suppliers to the COVAX facility.
