Prices of cottonseed and sesame oils rose by up to Rs 100 per quintal at the wholesale oils and oilseeds market Thursday on mild demand from retailers.

Castor in the non-edible section, also, ended higher on the uptick in demand from consuming industries.

Traders attributed the rise in cottonseed and sesame oil prices to some inquiries from retailers against restricted arrivals from growing regions.
