Poland temporarily suspends some of its consular offices in Ukraine

Poland has temporarily suspended activity of some of its consular offices in Ukrainian territory, the Polish Ministry of Foreign Affairs said on Thursday.

"Due to the changing security situation in Ukraine caused by Russian aggression ... we maintain a diplomatic and consular presence diplomatic and consular presence at the Embassy of the Republic of Poland in Kiev and at the General Consulate of the Republic of Poland in Lviv," the ministry said in a statement.

"For security reasons, there is a temporary suspension of activity of the remaining Polish consular representations on Ukrainian territory."
