On the occasion, Aditi said a quality sleep not only helped her but is also necessary for every athlete to grow in their career, besides food supplements and proper training.
"Football is an extremely agile sport wherein alertness and fitness remain integral to success. A tired or unfit body will not be able to perform well in such demanding sports," the 25-year-old footballer said.
Hence, adequate and quality sleep is necessary since it reenergizes the body and rejuvenates the mind, thereby refreshing one to perform to his or her optimum level, Aditi added.
Meanwhile, the furniture brand also launched its #SleepAt10 initiative to create awareness amongst the people about how important sleep is to not just one's physical well-being but also one's mental health.
