EU to move towards joint buying of shells for Ukraine, says official

A number of European Union countries are expected to sign a so-called "Project Arrangement" on joint procurement of 155 mm artillery shells for Ukraine on Monday, a senior EU official said on Friday.

The official did not immediately say how many would sign, but said the project was open to all EU members plus Norway.
