Chef killed in road accident in Nagpur

A speeding car fatally knocked down a chef and injured his friend in Maharashtra's Nagpur city in the wee hours of Friday, police said. The accident took place in an area under Rana Pratap Nagar Police Station limits and the deceased was identified as Munna Khemchand Chauhan, a resident of Raj Nagar here, they said. The 46-year-old was working as a chef in a city restaurant, said the police.
The car driver was taken into custody after the accident, they added.
