Qantas' pilots suspend strike on Cyclone Lincoln risk

The Australian Federation of Air Pilots said on Wednesday it had suspended a potential strike due this week by Qantas Airways unit Network Aviation pilots, who are embroiled in a pay-related dispute with the flag carrier.

The suspension comes after the state government of Western Australia requested the federation to hold off on its strike considering the high risks posed by ex-Tropical Cyclone Lincoln in the North-Western region of the state.
