ASML welcomes Dutch gov't plan, but still considering growth options

Dutch computer chip equipment maker ASML said on Thursday it welcomed a plan by the Dutch government to invest $2.7 billion in infrastructure and make it easier for the Netherlands' largest firm to continue to grow at home.

But it said it is still finalising plans on where it will locate operations as it continues to grow along with the rest of the semiconductor industry.

"The decision we need to take is not if we (will) stay, but where we (will) grow," ASML said in an emailed statement.
