China-Serbia free trade agreement to take effect on July 1, says Xi

A free trade agreement between China and Serbia will come into force on July 1, Chinese President Xi Jinping said on Wednesday in Belgrade.

China is ready to import more high-quality agricultural products from Serbia, Serbia is welcome to increase direct flights between Belgrade and Chinese cities including Shanghai and Guangzhou, Xi said in a joint press conference with his Serbian counterpart Aleksandar Vucic.
