Zambia is an attractive place for investment, says India's Vice President Venkaiah Naidu.

India has welcomed the South African country as a member of the International Solar Alliance with VP Venkaiah Naidu, who is highly aggressive in making the early ratification of the Framework Agreement by Zambia.

Venkaiah Naidu also welcomed frequent exchanges between the two parliaments. According to him, such interactions would be highly beneficial in sharing experience and learning from each other's best practices.

On the other hand, India's Vice President has also urged the Indian investors to invest in Zambia. He has emphasized the agricultural sector due to the availability of massive land and the nation housing 60 percent of fresh water resources in the region.

Even, according to him, Zambia should also pick up the advantage of India's strong solar energy technology and further develop to ratify International Solar Alliance membership.

"India-Zambia share warm & friendly relations based on common values such as commitment to democracy, liberty, equality and rule of law," Naidu tweeted.
