Canon Central and North Africa has announced the launch of the EOS C400 camera and the CN7x17 KAS T lens, both designed to elevate large-scale productions. The new additions cater to the evolving needs of the market, offering versatile solutions for various production types, including indie cinema, documentary, live and virtual broadcasts, and electronic news gathering.
EOS C400: High-End RF Mount Cinema Camera
The EOS C400 marks Canon's first high-end RF mount cinema camera, ushering in a new era for the EOS R System. This compact yet powerful camera features advanced specifications typically found in larger models, all within a nimble box-shaped design that prioritizes ease of use and operability.

6K Full Frame BSI Sensor: The camera is equipped with a 6K full frame backside-illuminated, stacked CMOS sensor, providing 16 stops of dynamic range for superior image quality.
Triple Base ISO Technology: Offers base ISO levels of 800, 3,200, and 12,800, ensuring optimal performance in low light environments.
RF Mount: Supports a wide range of RF prime, zoom, hybrid, cinema, and VR lenses. It also supports Canon's EF-EOS R mount adapters and the new PL-RF mount adaptor.
Dual Pixel CMOS AF II: Provides comprehensive autofocus features with face, eye, body, and animal tracking, enhancing clarity and reliability.

EOS C300 Mark III Firmware Update
Canon also announced a free firmware update for the EOS C300 Mark III, adding 12-bit Cinema RAW Light formats (LT, ST, HQ) and an Auto ISO feature to improve workflow flexibility and seamless transitions in dynamic lighting conditions.
