Mahindra's Shah Confident in Modi's Growth Agenda Despite Coalition Politics

Mahindra Group CEO Anish Shah expressed confidence in the continuation of growth-oriented policies under Prime Minister Narendra Modi's leadership despite coalition politics. In an interview, Shah emphasized four key focus areas: manufacturing, women-led development, farm prosperity, and sustainability. He expects private capital expenditure to increase alongside government capex.

Mahindra Group CEO and MD Anish Shah asserted on Tuesday that coalition politics will not impede the growth trajectory of Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s government in its third term.

Shah, serving also as the president of industry chamber FICCI, highlighted the industry's anticipation of sustained growth policies and a concentrated focus on manufacturing for global markets, women-led development, farm prosperity, and sustainability.

In a PTI interview, Shah conveyed his optimism about private capital expenditure rising, pointing to the importance of a stable government stimulating long-term growth and investment across various sectors.
