China and Australia to Offer Multiple-Entry Visas Boosting Tourism and Business

Starting Friday, China and Australia will grant each other's citizens multiple-entry visas valid for up to five years, aimed at enhancing tourism and business. This new visa arrangement comes after Chinese Premier Li Qiang's landmark visit to Australia, which helped stabilize the previously tense bilateral relations.

China and Australia will provide each other's citizens with multiple-entry visas of up to five years for tourism and business from Friday, the Chinese foreign ministry said.

The visa arrangement followed a milestone trip by China's Premier Li Qiang to Australia earlier this week that marked a stabilisation in bilateral relations after a period of frosty ties.
